About the Role Our client is currently looking for an experienced Senior ICSS Engineer to join a major offshore Oil & Gas development project.

The successful candidate will be involved in the engineering, specification, verification, and coordination of Integrated Control & Safety Systems (ICSS), working closely with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and the end client throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review Functional Design Specifications and Functional Analysis documents.
  • Prepare and maintain Cause & Effect (C&E) matrices.
  • Develop Safety Logic Diagrams (SLD).
  • Prepare and review Control System Specifications.
  • Coordinate and monitor ICSS vendors and suppliers.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
  • Support Alarm Management activities.
  • Interface with Process, Safety, Package, Instrumentation, and Equipment engineering teams.
  • Lead and participate in technical meetings with vendors and client representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Instrumentation, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an ICSS Engineer within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • DCS
    • ESD
    • F&G Systems
    • ICSS Architecture
    • Cause & Effect Matrices
    • Safety Logic Diagrams
    • Functional Specifications
    • Alarm Management
  • Experience managing technical interfaces across multiple disciplines.
  • Experience coordinating and supervising system vendors.
  • Previous participation in FAT activities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
Preferred Experience
  • FPSO, Offshore, LNG, Refinery or Petrochemical projects.
  • Experience working for EPC contractors or major operators.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, Yokogawa, ABB 800xA, Siemens PCS7, Schneider/Triconex or equivalent.
