Role Purpose The Senior Material & Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring material readiness and overseeing logistics control throughout the project lifecycle.

This individual will work within the Project Management Company (PMC) and serve as the representative of the project developer.
The role ensures that critical materials and equipment are procured, delivered, stored, preserved, tracked, distributed, and reconciled in alignment with construction and commissioning requirements.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain the project Material and Logistics Management Plan.
  2. Track long-lead equipment, owner-furnished equipment, contractor-furnished equipment, and other critical delivery milestones.
  3. Coordinate procurement schedules with construction sequencing, commissioning readiness, site access requirements, and laydown planning.
  4. Manage receiving, warehousing, inventory tracking, preservation, and on-site material distribution processes.
  5. Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, general contractors (GCs), subcontractors, vendors, and Turner discipline leads.
  6. Monitor logistics risks, including delayed deliveries, damaged or rejected materials, and improper storage conditions.
  7. Review material status reports, delivery schedules, packing lists, and material readiness dashboards.
  8. Ensure the proper handling, storage, and protection of mission-critical equipment.
  9. Escalate logistics constraints that may impact project schedule, quality, safety, or commissioning readiness.
  10. Support project closeout through surplus material management, resolution of damaged or rejected materials, and material reconciliation activities.

Background and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, construction logistics, and material management. Experience on large-scale construction projects is required.
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional and multi-country projects across the APAC region.
  • Experience with long-lead equipment tracking, material planning, and inventory control.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills within a matrix organization.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
