Senior Naval Engineer

Our client is an international company active in the engineering, design, installation, and operation of offshore energy production facilities. They are currently looking for a Senior Naval Engineer to join the team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and engineering solutions that meet high standards of safety, reliability, and sustainability, while contributing to the successful delivery of complex offshore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize engineering solutions in line with project specifications, international codes, company standards, and industry regulations
• Select appropriate methods and procedures to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective design execution
• Plan and complete assigned engineering activities and deliverables within the agreed timeframe and budget
• Ensure the assigned scope of work is delivered in accordance with both contractual and internal requirements
• Apply lessons learned and assess the impact of design changes across project interfaces and system boundaries
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties throughout the engineering process
• Support package engineering activities related to design, procurement, and manufacturing
• Lead engineers on assigned scopes of work and support discipline coordination where required

Key requirements

• Degree in Naval, Marine, Offshore Engineering or a similar discipline
• Proven experience in offshore / marine engineering projects
• Strong background in engineering design, analysis, and system interfaces
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and subcontractors
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
