We are currently recruiting a Senior Piping Engineer on a 3 month contract for a Global Energy EPC with potential to extend to be based in Perth CBD with occasional site travel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as focal point for the resolution of onsite piping issues during construction / commissioning phase, responding to Technical and Site Queries raised by site team and construction partners
- Conduct review of mechanical and piping works to be undertaken in line with contract, code and good engineering practice
- Prepare requisitions, conduct bid analysis and manage procurement of piping items required for site activities
- Prepare and manage scopes of work for subcontractors undertaking mechanical and piping works onsite
- Act as focal point for suppliers and subcontractors providing mechanical and piping goods and works
- Closeout of mechanical and piping activities/documentation to ensure full traceability is included in project records
- Conduct regular site visits (to Karratha) to assist site team
- In depth knowledge of requirements of B31.3
- Experience with site construction phase of project
- Piping commissioning activities e.g. pressure testing, line cleaning
- Package management for piping procurement activities and subcontracts
