About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support the planning and delivery of major decarbonisation and fleet transition initiatives within a large-scale asset-intensive environment. This role plays a critical part in developing, maintaining and optimising integrated project schedules that support the deployment of battery electric heavy mobile equipment, electrification programs and associated infrastructure.
Working closely with project, engineering, operational readiness and OEM stakeholders, you will ensure effective schedule integration, project controls discipline and successful delivery of complex capital programs.

This role plays a critical part in developing, maintaining and optimising integrated project schedules that support the deployment of battery electric heavy mobile equipment, electrification programs and associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain master and detailed project schedules to support successful project delivery.
- Resource and commodity load schedules to provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Conduct critical path analysis, milestone tracking and "what-if" scenario modelling.
- Develop and maintain schedule documentation, including Basis of Schedule reports.
- Ensure schedule integrity through regular schedule reviews and health checks.
- Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and analyse CPI and SPI performance metrics.
- Review contractor schedules and integrate supplier and contractor plans into the master program.
- Identify emerging project risks, trends and productivity issues and provide proactive recommendations.
- Produce accurate weekly and monthly planning and progress reports.
- Facilitate planning workshops, risk reviews and change management activities.
- Support capital planning and forecasting processes.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure planning assumptions, scope and schedule data remain current and accurate.
About You
- Experience as a Project Planner within major projects, mining, resources, infrastructure, energy or industrial sectors.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Experience across the full project lifecycle, from concept and development through to execution and commissioning.
- Strong understanding of project controls, planning methodologies and scheduling best practices.
- Advanced Primavera P6 skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
