Power Solution Manufacturing at Tranby Technology Centre is looking for a Senior Production Planner (Master Planner) to join our Strategic Planning department. Located just 10 minutes from Drammen and 30 minutes from Oslo, our site delivers complex projects for the global energy industry.

Strategic Planning plays a key role in connecting customer demand, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain activities to ensure efficient and predictable project execution. As Master Planner, you will be central to this effort, helping drive operational performance and delivery success across the site.

 

What will you be doing?
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing capacity plans to ensure delivery commitments are met
  • Create and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer demand and project requirements
  • Balance capacity, material availability, and business priorities across manufacturing operations
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Workshop teams to optimize production flow
  • Identify planning risks, bottlenecks, and constraints, and drive mitigation actions
  • Support continuous improvement of planning processes, systems, KPIs, and ERP tools
 

We think you should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field (relevant experience and technical “fagbrev” may compensate)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within manufacturing planning, supply chain, operations, or project-driven manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of MRP, capacity planning, production scheduling, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience working with SAP (S/4HANA)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written
