NES Fircroft are partnering with a Tier-1 resources business to recruit a Senior Project Engineer to deliver multiple wind projects in Northern WA. Their current portfolio consists of two wind projects, delivering more than 2.5GW of renewable energy capacity. Both projects are at different stages, with one in construction and the other at pre-FID.
The Role: Senior Project Engineer – Wind Projects
Location: Perth CBD, Mon-Fri (some travel to site / vendors)
Rate: $85 - $110 + Super p/h (45 hour wee
Length: 12 Months (High chance of extension due to number of projects)
The Role
The successful candidate will work across both projects, with frequent exposure to early development phase tasks, including FEED design, grid connection studies, heritage surveys, site investigations and preparing submissions. Responsibilities will also include supplier prequalification, leading technical aspects of major equipment procurement and managing external consultants.
The role would suit candidates with a technical background, with a high level of commercial acumen to manage multiple stakeholders.

Key Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Demonstratable experience delivering renewable energy and/or large infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to wind projects and wind farm technology regarded highly
- Early development phase exposure, including feasibility/FEED, detailed design & FID, cost estimates, scheduling etc.
- Confident liaising with key stakeholders
- Exposure to contract development and management principles.
