Senior Project Engineer Location: Dubai, UAE
Contract Duration: Up to 4 years

About the Role We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join a major energy infrastructure development. This role is pivotal during the Detailed Engineering phase, overseeing engineering activities related to procurement and construction, and preparing for onshore execution. You will ensure compliance with HSSE, quality, and technical requirements while supporting contractors and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee engineering activities for procurement and construction during Detailed Engineering.
  • Prepare and coordinate onshore construction campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with HSSE policies and technical standards.
  • Participate in HAZID/HAZOP meetings and maintain risk registers.
  • Verify construction documentation and ensure readiness for site execution.
  • Mobilize supervision teams and manage load-out activities for modules.
  • Track punch lists and ensure timely project close-out reporting.
  • Promote ethics and compliance with industry standards.
Context The development involves building a large-scale gas processing facility and associated infrastructure, including pipelines, storage, and export facilities. The initial phase includes installing a processing train with future expansion planned.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 15 years professional experience.
    • At least 10 years in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of civil works, infrastructures, engineering, construction, and commissioning.
  • Expertise in contract and project management (budget, cost, schedule).
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment with excellent communication skills.
  • Languages: Fluent English (mandatory); French and/or Arabic is a plus.
