Hiring for International Oil & Gas operator in Basra
Rotation : 14/14

Criteria & Qualifications    
•    Educated to High school level, proficient in English language (Reading, Writing & Speaking). 
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in wells operations team or quality role within the oil and gas industry.
•    Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), API Q1/Q2, or equivalent certifications are acceptable (ISO).
•    Strong knowledge of drilling, completions, and well intervention equipment.
•    Knowledge and understanding of international standards. (API, ISO, ASME) 
•    Knowledge of NDT processes and types. (MPI, UT, LPI etc)
•    A working knowledge / familiarisation DS-1.
•    A working knowledge VAM Top and other premium connections.
•    A strong team player with self-motivation and the ability to work independently is a must.
•    Must be computer literate and have ability to operate MS Office applications

Key Accountabilities
Having the ability to lead by example and foment change in a workforce accustomed to less developed Quality and HSE practices.
• Monitor and verify compliance with quality management systems, standards, and procedures during, drilling, completion, and intervention operations.
• Conduct inspections of well materials and equipment related to wells operations (OCTG, Packers, Tree’s, Wellheads etc) and produce detailed reports.
• Conduct audits, and assessments of service providers and rig contractors.
• Collaborate with engineers and operational teams to implement best practices and address quality issues proactively.
• Support the qualification and performance evaluation of suppliers and service providers.
• The ability to conduct failure investigations into contractor equipment and support operational requirements where needed.
• Supervise local 3rd party inspection contractors during Drill Stem & BHA inspection (DS-1 cat 4 & 3-5).
• Supervising Third Party Inspection / Rig crew personnel, when deployed to the field as and when required (deck & rig return inspections).
