Data Centre Project | Paris, France | 6-Month Contract
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Site Mechanical Engineer to support the completion and handover of a major data centre development in Paris.
You will be responsible for overseeing mechanical completion activities, carrying out inspections, managing snagging items and supporting commissioning teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Site Mechanical Engineer to support the completion and handover of a major data centre development in Paris.
You will be responsible for overseeing mechanical completion activities, carrying out inspections, managing snagging items and supporting commissioning teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Perform site inspections and mechanical walkdowns.
- Manage and track snagging and punch-list items.
- Coordinate with contractors and project teams to close out defects.
- Review installation quality and compliance.
- Support commissioning and systems acceptance activities.
- Assist with project documentation and handover requirements.
- Participate in client and contractor coordination meetings.
- Monitor progress and escalate delivery risks where necessary.
- Support the successful completion and handover of mechanical systems.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Previous data centre project experience is essential.
- Experience within project delivery, QA/QC, commissioning or close-out phases.
- Good understanding of HVAC and cooling systems used within data centres.
- Strong site coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively drive completion activities.
Desirable
- French language skills preferred but not essential.
- Mission critical project experience.
- Consultancy, owner's engineer or client-side background.
