Senior Telecommunication Systems Engineer (M/F) Location: Nanterre, France
Contract: 6–12‑month assignment
Start Date: March 2

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecommunication Systems Engineer to support a major LNG / Onshore Oil & Gas project.
This position involves advanced engineering studies, vendor coordination, and detailed telecom system design across multiple discipline interfaces.

🎯 Key Responsibilities As Senior Telecommunication Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality telecom engineering packages, including:

  • Developing telecommunication system architectures and detailed block diagrams
  • Preparing technical telecom specifications (PAGA, CCTV, radio systems, fibre optics, LAN, etc.)
  • Performing Material Take‑Offs (MTO) for cables, power distribution, telecom equipment
  • Managing interfaces with existing telecom infrastructures
  • Preparing telecom layouts such as CCTV layouts, PAGA layouts, radio rooms, etc.
  • Conducting technical evaluations and preparing vendor technical comparisons
  • Reviewing vendor drawings and documentation and issuing comments
  • Participating in installation‑related validation (telecom cabinets, power supply, equipment configurations)
  • Reporting to the Telecom Lead and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams
🧩 Required Skills & Background
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate strong technical expertise and the ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced engineering environment.

Technical Requirements
  • Strong experience with the following systems:
    PAGA, Hotline, Telephone Systems, CCTV, UHF/TETRA Radio, VHF Marine Radio, Fibre Optic Networks, LAN systems, Wireless Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Ship‑to‑Shore Link Systems
  • Proven background in Oil & Gas (onshore LNG preferred)
  • Solid understanding of relevant international standards: ISA, IEC, ATEX
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and standard engineering software (MS Office)
Profile
  • 10+ years of experience in Telecom Engineering
  • Strong technical writing skills and ability to produce clear and accurate documentation
  • Experience with vendor packages and supplier technical reviews
  • Ability to work in multicultural, multidisciplinary teams
  • Professional working proficiency in English
