Here's your opportunity to shape the systems, governance and compliance frameworks that underpin capability development across a major mining operation. As our Training Advisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring our training and competency systems remain effective, compliant and fit for purpose while supporting a safe and productive workforce.
 
Working a 5:2/4:3 residential roster, you'll enjoy the benefits of regional NSW living while making a genuine impact across site training, learning systems and compliance programs. We understand flexibility matters, and for the right candidate, alternative roster arrangements may be considered. This is an exciting opportunity to influence how training governance supports operational excellence while opening pathways into broader Training, Safety and Compliance leadership roles.
 
Reporting to the Senior Training Advisor, you'll:
  • Drive continuous improvement across training governance and competency systems
  • Ensure legislative, regulatory and company training requirements are effectively maintained
  • Support and optimise training platforms including INX/Quartex Intuition and learning management systems
  • Improve the quality, accuracy and integrity of site training records and compliance processes
  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders across site to strengthen workforce capability and compliance outcomes
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement through effective training governance 
Does this sound like you?
  • Experience in training governance, compliance, learning systems or training coordination
  • Exposure to INX/Quartex Intuition, Moodle or similar learning management systems
  • A sound understanding of compliance frameworks and WHS requirements
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • Experience within mining, resources, heavy industry, governance, compliance, banking or other highly regulated environments will be highly regarded
  • Experience with Articulate Rise or e-learning systems would be advantageous
