Job Specification
The Shutdown Support Sr. Coordinator is responsible for the Project shutdown deliverables schedule and planning to meet Shutdown Management System and all aspects of the Progress Measurement System. This includes development, monitoring, and reporting in addition to ensuring that all required deliverables comply with Shutdown Management System and are delivered to the highest possible standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business administration, Business Management, Construction Management or Project Management. Knowledge and/or Experience
8 years of experience with at least 4 years broad experience in Planning and scheduling of major projects, including at least two years involvement in the shutdown execution.
Experience developing work methods and form several alternative methods in accordance with established Company policies, directives from Management, schedules and professional engineering standards.
Technical and Business Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact with Operations and PMTs confidently.
Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
Undertakes complex tasks and acts as a source of guidance for staff and internal customers. Is expected to handle all but the most complex problems and difficulties that might arise.
Takes initiatives, based on experienced gained, to deliver timely and cost-effective service.
Sets situations/issues in the context of the entire team and has an appreciation of the wider relationships with other people and organizations.
Works independently within established procedures, plans and budgets and contributes to the development of these.
Has autonomy over scheduling and planning of own work; organizesefforts of work group to achieve overall efficiency.
