SIMOPS PTW Coordinator – Oil & Gas Operations
Location: Qatar - Raslaffan
Contract: 2-Year Initial (Extendable) | Oil & Gas / LNG

Work Schedule & Setup
  • 8–10 Hours per Day
  • Sunday to Thursday
  • Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF (Single Status)
Experience: 8+ Years
Qualification: HND in Engineering

Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced SIMOPS PTW Coordinator to lead and coordinate all Permit to Work (PTW) activities, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient execution of operations in line with QG and RLIC procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all PTW activities within the assigned area.
  • Coordinate between Operations and Performing Parties, ensuring smooth PTW execution.
  • Conduct permit review and screening during planning phases to identify risks and potential conflicts.
  • Lead daily PTW coordination meetings and circulate upcoming work schedules with priorities.
  • Maintain and update daily PTW register, supplementary certificates, and performance records.
  • Brief Area Shift Supervisors on permits for authorization and operational alignment.
  • Perform site spot-checks and PTW audits to ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Track and report overdue/expired permits and ensure document compliance.
  • Generate PTW reports, statistics, and compliance tracking.
  • Participate in incident investigations, audits, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Keeping up with continuous PTW system and plant procedure updates
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of Oil & Gas operations experience
  • Strong experience with PTW systems and SIMOPS environment
  • Technical exposure to process plant operations
  • Fluent in English (written & verbal)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple work fronts
