Site Engineering Project Manager (Expat Contract) – FPSO Projects

Location: Rotterdam → China → Singapore

Looking to be a part of a major international FPSO project with long-term security and global exposure?

We’re supporting our client on a key hire for an experienced Site Engineering Project Manager to join on a long-term expat contract, working across multiple global yard locations.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll take full ownership of engineering delivery on large-scale FPSO projects, working alongside a strong project team across the full lifecycle.

Project Locations
Now – Nov 2026: Rotterdam (office-based)
Nov 2026 – June 2028: Tianjin (China)
June 2028 – Sept 2029: (Singapore)

The Role
You’ll be responsible for driving the full engineering scope on site — making sure everything is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
  • Lead planning, execution, and closeout of engineering scope
  • Coordinate across multi-discipline engineering teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and company standards
  • Oversee site engineering activities including inspection, testing & commissioning
  • Work closely with the wider Project Management Team to ensure seamless delivery
What They’re Looking For
  • Fluent in Chinese (essential)
  • Strong FPSO experience (Hull & Topsides essential)
  • Proven track record in site engineering / yard environments
  • Experience across concept, FEED and detailed design through to execution
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • 10–15 years’ experience within Oil & Gas
