Site HSES Permit Coordinator

A Permit Coordinator manages the application, review and issue construction and commissioning related Safe Work Permits in accordance to client procedure. Liaise with project team, Contractors ensuring compliance, tracking application statuses.

Goals and deliverables

• Promote 12 Life Saving Rules.
• Proivide Safe Work Permit training for Contractors employees.
• Advise the Site Manager in the reprimanding of E&C Europe personnel and Subcontractors caught disrespecting the regulations in force.
• Check the Contractor’s Method Statement, risk assessment and other required documents.
• Communicate with Contractors the safety points concerning highr risk acticities (e.g , excavations, confined spase, work at height, lifting).
• Management and checking of E&C Safe Work Permit, Confined Space Permit, work at height permit in accordance with local regulation, E&C Europe standards and site requirements.
• Participate to the Coordination Meeting with subcontractors giving information and monitoring about: coactivity, special works, dangerous works, special safety instruction (client, weather, confined space …)
• Perform require gas tests for hight risk activities e.g. confined space, hot work...
• Stop the activities when considering unacceptable risks have been taken regarding the use of materials, the applied work method and/or technique or the way the job is being executed, which can cause harm to man, machine or environment. 
• Participate in safety walk-downs, .
• 20% of time on site, 80% office environment.

• Dutch speaking (Beneficial)
• Experienced in managing Safe work permits within construction industry, SIMOPS
• Work at height trained
• Proficient in English (read, write, speak).
• Proficiency level on Office software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Google Tools
