The Site Purchaser is responsible for executing procurement activities at the project site for an FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) project. The role ensures timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials, equipment, and services required for construction, commissioning, and operations, while complying with company procedures, project specifications, and international oil & gas standards.

The Site Purchaser acts as the key interface between site operations, vendors, logistics, and the central procurement team to ensure seamless supply chain execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day purchasing activities for site requirements in accordance with approved project procurement procedures
  • Vendor & Supplier Management
  • Site Coordination
  • Monitor and expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery in line with project schedule
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with project budgets, cost control measures, and approval matrices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including purchase orders, vendor lists, and delivery status

Experience
  • Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience, preferably within Oil & Gas, FPSO, Offshore, or EPC projects.
  • Proven experience working in site-based procurement environments (yard or offshore preferred).
  • Familiarity with FPSO modules, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation materials.
