We’re seeking an experienced Field Engineer to join our client's team, supporting ongoing project works through SMP delivery. This role suits someone who thrives in the field, can make decisions confidently, and operates with a high degree of independence. We are looking for an immediate start.

You’ll report directly to the Field Engineering Manager, and work within a flexible and supportive field‑based engineering team.

About the Role
This position will assist the field manager with SMP scopes. You will act as the one of the primary points of contact on site, ensuring design intent is upheld and issues are resolved efficiently.
You’ll report directly to the Field Engineering Manager, and work within a flexible and supportive field‑based engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the on‑site POC for field SMP engineering and structural steel packages
- Provide field engineering support across SMP
- Review drawings, identify gaps, and drive practical decision-making
- Work closely with supervisory and construction teams to maintain progress
- Support quality assurance, documentation, and verification activities
- Resolve design issues in real time
- Maintain strong communication between engineering, site teams, and leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or related
- SMP field engineering experience
- Someone independent, proactive, and decisive in the field
- Able to operate in a less‑structured environment with limited EPCM support
- Not a PE role – this is a hands‑on Field Engineering position
