Solid Control Operator – 6 month initial contract – Onshore Gas
We are seeking an experienced Solids Control Operator to support drilling operations across Australian projects. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting solids control and fluid management equipment to ensure efficient drilling performance and environmental compliance.

We are seeking an experienced Solids Control Operator to support drilling operations across Australian projects. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting solids control and fluid management equipment to ensure efficient drilling performance and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor solids control equipment including centrifuges, shale shakers, dryers, pumps and related systems.
- Assist with rig up and rig down of equipment on drilling sites.
- Carry out routine maintenance, inspections and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Ensure proper handling of drilling fluids and waste streams.
- Complete daily reports, maintenance logs and safety documentation.
- Follow all site HSE procedures and participate in safety meetings.
- Work closely with clients and site teams to support smooth operations.
- 3+ years experience in solids control, drilling fluids or oilfield services.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with centrifuges, shakers, dryers and pumps.
- Willingness to work FIFO, offshore and in remote locations.
- Strong focus on safety and compliance.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to pass medical and drug and alcohol testing.
