Schedule: M-F; Standard 40-hour work week

Overview
The Sourcing Leader will be responsible for managing all sourcing activities for assigned packages within the project, from prequalification through recommendation for award. The Sourcing Lead ensures that suppliers are technically and commercially qualified, that bid processes are conducted with transparency and discipline, and that selected suppliers can meet the project’s safety, quality, cost, and schedule. This role maintains close coordination with engineering, contracts, and logistics teams to ensure seamless flow from sourcing into procurement and execution.

Responsibilities
• Lead sourcing strategy, market engagement, and supplier evaluation for assigned material and service packages
• Ensure all sourcing activities are executed in compliance with SLB procedures and project governance
• Coordinate with engineering and construction to translate technical requirements into sourcing deliverables
• Maintain visibility on bid progress, commercial evaluations, and supplier performance during pre-award stages
• Support the Supply Chain Manager in identifying sourcing risks and developing mitigation strategies
• Develop sourcing plans and bidding schedules aligned with project procurement strategy and milestones
• Identify, prequalify, and maintain a competitive pool of capable suppliers for each scope of supply
• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and coordinate clarifications between suppliers and engineering teams
• Lead commercial evaluations and coordinate technical bid evaluations with relevant disciplines
• Consolidate recommendations for award, ensuring full compliance with approval and documentation requirements
• Support contract negotiations, ensuring commercial terms align with project objectives and risk profile
• Maintain accurate sourcing trackers, bid registers, and correspondence archives for traceability

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration or 12+ years of sourcing experience in construction or industrial projects
• Professional certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent
• Training in commercial evaluation or supplier performance management
