Sourcing Specialist - Buying & Procurement

Description:

• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in Oracle
• Review and validate requisitions (PORs) before PO creation
• Confirm supplier setup and availability in Oracle
• Navigate multiple Oracle screens to: Check PO history
• Review inventory and supply/demand data (view-only)
• Support planners with accurate status updates
• Support production meetings by preparing PO and part status outside of Oracle (typically in Excel)
• Manage Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs)
• Regular interaction with ~5 suppliers (out of ~9 total)
• Handle releases, expediting, and payment follow-up
• Support farm-out and repair activities, interacting with ~20 suppliers over short cycles
• Communicate with suppliers via email and calls (Teams) to, Request quotes (RFQs), Expedite materials, Clarify requirements
• Maintain documentation for auditability and PO attachments

Requirements:

• SAP or similar modern ERP 
• Oracle OSCAR and/or Oracle PASCAL will be ideal
• Hands‑on Buyer‑side use (not just exposure)
