Our client, a Global Energy Operator in Perth CBD is currently seeking Supply Chain Reporting & Analytics Analyst to join the Supply Chain team for a 12 month contract.
Delivering high quality data analytics, dashboards, reporting, automation, and market intelligence to support strategic and operational decision-making. Ensure the Supply Chain organization has timely, accurate, and actionable insights while helping to identify risk, improve performance, and drive continuous improvement across the end-to-end supply chain.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performance Measurement
  • Develop an automated process for KPI updates to streamline reporting
  • Pursue continuous improvement across all KPIs, implementing enhancements as needed
  • Drive standardisation of data sources, definitions, and processes across the supply chain.
  • Support the Value Creation dashboard by integrating comprehensive data from all Supply Chain functions, adding advanced features to track workflow efficiency, QRG, and beyond
Reporting
  • Lead the end-to-end preparation of monthly and quarterly supply chain reports, performance packs, KPI scorecards, and executive summaries.
  • Standardize reporting processes to ensure quality, consistency, and repeatability.
  • Enhance the contents and style of reports wherever feasible
  • Consolidate inputs from cross functional teams and present insights clearly and concisely
Market Intelligence
  • Regularly update the Market Intelligence report, ensuring stakeholders (primarily the C&P team) receive timely, relevant insights
  • Enhance the Market Intelligence report by integrating valuable market data connected to Supply Chain operation
  • Collaborate to refine reporting style, optimizing both content and process globally
  • Continuously explore opportunities to enhance the effectiveness, value, and user experience of Market Intelligence Reporting
  • Conduct continuous supply market analysis, including pricing trends, commodity movements, cost drivers, geopolitical influences, and supplier landscape shifts.
  • Support category teams with benchmark insights and supplier performance data.
Risk Reviews and Monitoring
  • Facilitate supply chain risk assessments, including supplier risk, operational risk, and supply continuity risk.
  • Maintain risk registers and tracking dashboards.
  • Monitor emerging risks and alert leadership to significant changes or vulnerabilities.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, planning, logistics, finance, and technical functions.
  • Present insights and recommendations to leaders and cross functional working groups.
  • Build strong relationships to understand analytics needs and deliver high value solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Sustainability and Change Advisor to implement and sustain change management within the Supply Chain
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with Logistics and C&P teams, regularly requesting and sharing feedback to ensure alignment on expectations and performance of the SCE team
Key Skills and Experience Required:
  • University degree in a related discipline
  • Strong experience in data analytics or supply chain analysis roles.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar BI platforms.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Power Query, and data modelling.
  • Ability to turn complex data into simple, clear insights.
  • Understanding supply chain processes (planning, procurement, logistics, inventory).
  • Experience with automation tools or scripting languages (Power Automate, Python, VBA, etc.).
  • Exposure to SAP and ARIBA
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly effective at influencing and engaging a diverse group of stakeholders and able to communicate complex information in a simple way
  • Strong analytical leadership and facilitation skills
  • Able to detect any inefficient work process and create value
  • Capability of data management (Microsoft office), and reporting skills
  • Proactive approach for all of Supply Chain Analytics and Sustainability improvement
