SW Installation Engineer - S Lay

Position: SW Installation Engineer – S-Lay (Shallow Water)
Location: Europe (Netherlands / Paris)
Start Date: January/February 2026
Status: Residential / Offshore during installation phase

Key Responsibilities

• Manage engineering for S-Lay pipelay and umbilical lay operations within EPCI scope.
• Ensure safe, timely, and budget-compliant delivery of shallow-water installation activities with high quality standards.
• Oversee readiness processes and progressive preparation for site activities.
• Monitor and manage schedule, technical, quality, and HSES requirements.
• Conduct marine spread inspections, vetting, and ensure MWS engagement.
• Resolve technical interfaces and manage co-activity impacts efficiently.
• Collaborate with contractors and consultants, ensuring compliance with HSE and QA/QC standards.
• Provide regular reporting to Shallow Water Lead and support execution phases.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience in engineering for large-scale EPCI contracts with significant S-Lay installation experience.
• Strong understanding of offshore pipeline and structure installation and vessel interface operations.
• Ability to assess contractor capabilities and execution planning for deep-water campaigns.
• Effective communicator in multicultural environments; collaborative problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Geotechnical, Civil, or Mechanical preferred).
• Valid offshore safety and medical certifications (BOSIET, OGUK).
• Fluent in English.
