About the Role The Turnaround Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing detailed schedules to support the planning and execution of a Turnaround (TA). The ideal candidate brings strong Primavera P6 expertise, hands-on turnaround or industrial project experience, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates with a trades background or engineering/project experience—especially those local to the area—are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed turnaround schedules using Primavera P6.

  • Work closely with planners, supervisors, contractors, and project teams to gather scope details and ensure accurate activity sequencing.

  • Monitor schedule progress, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Support the creation of resource-loaded schedules and ensure alignment with manpower and equipment availability.

  • Participate in daily/weekly planning and progress meetings during both planning and execution phases.

  • Provide schedule updates, reports, and forecasts to TA leadership.

  • Assist in risk identification and mitigation planning related to schedule impacts.

  • Ensure all scheduling activities align with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Scheduler in industrial environments; Turnaround experience strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 (required).

  • Background in trades, maintenance, construction, or engineering/project management.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex schedules.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to work extended hours during the execution phase of the Turnaround.

  • Willingness to travel or temporarily relocate if not local
