Technical Data Specialist – EDDM

 

Contract period: 02.02.2026 - 31.12.2027

Location: Stavanger or Oslo

 

Main tasks:

  • Perform verification and QA activities for all delivery lines on the Project.
  • Follow up that contractors seamlessly deliver one uniformed data stream to all necessary consumers.
  • Can build and maintain Power BI dashboards. Has skills in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with AI and data analysis, and their applications in automated quality control of data.
  • Engineering background(mechanical, electrical etc) preferred. Project experience and experience with LCI is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with engineering data (tags, attributes, engineering documents) and able to understand the concepts behind them. What kind of equipment exist, which attributes we can expect on them and what documents they're typically part of.
  • Understanding of how an industrial asset can be digitally modelled: plant, systems, areas, lines, tags, functions, loops, documents etc
  • Understands the underlying data and information in engineering documents and can translate that to digital requirements. Solution oriented in terms of digitalization of "dumb" drawings, e.g with use of AI.
  • Able to turn operational information needs into practical solutions (expansion of digital requirements, automated checks, dashboards/report, ad-hoc reports and analyses).
  • Capable of seeing the full picture of the data procurement process and the ecosphere of different engineering software systems. Understanding of integrations is beneficial.
 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Master’s degree in relevant discipline. Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
  • Customer-focused mindset and strong ability to plan and prioritise.
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
  • Regulatory competence for the petroleum industry.
  • Multidisciplinary understanding.
  • Proactive, ability to recognise and solve problems, take initiatives and drive progress.
