Rotation: Mon-Fri with some travel
Description:
NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Technical Environmental Impact Assessment professional to support nuclear-related projects in Ontario. This role will focus on providing technical leadership and regulatory guidance for Environmental Impact Assessments across energy and infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong consulting experience, a background in nuclear projects, and the ability to respond to evolving project needs. Experience with radiation, safety, and nuclear engineering is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Environmental Impact Assessments for multi-disciplinary energy and infrastructure projects
- Develop regulatory strategies, permitting plans, and environmental monitoring programs
- Provide technical oversight, reviews, and quality assurance for EIA documentation
- Act as a technical consultant to clients and regulators
- Support engagement with Indigenous communities, stakeholders, and the public
- Identify and support business development opportunities, including proposal input
- Mentor junior and intermediate team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental studies, planning, science, or engineering
- 15+ years of experience managing Environmental Impact Assessments in Ontario or across Canada
- Required: Nuclear project experience and consulting experience
- Strong understanding of Ontario and federal environmental regulatory processes
- Experience leading complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Business development and proposal support experience is an asset
