NES Fircroft is supporting a highly reputable and long-established Oil & Gas Operator in the Southern North Sea as they continue to strengthen their Technical Safety team. What we’re looking for:
Experienced Technical Safety Engineers with hands-on capability in:
  • Consequence modelling (PHAST / FLARESIM ; CFD advantageous)
  • QRA, fire and explosion risk assessment
  • Fire water systems understanding
  • Safety studies such as TRM, HAZID, Bowtie, ALARP
  • Barrier diagram development and Safety Case work
  • Experience liaising with regulators and working to UK O&G legislation
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead safety studies (TRM, HAZID, Bowtie, ALARP)
  • Develop Bowties and conduct consequence modelling
  • Perform QRA, Event/Fault Tree modelling, and Hazardous Area Classification
  • Deliver Safety Case updates and 5-year Thorough Reviews
  • Manage technical safety studies with external contractors (EERA, PEA, OBRA, etc.)
  • Provide safety input into MOC
  • Ensure compliance with OSDR/SCR, PFEER, DSEAR, DCR, PSR, PSSR and stay aligned with evolving legislation
