📍 Location: Ras Laffan / Doha, Qatar (100% Onshore)
📄 Contract Duration: Initial 2-Year Contract (Extendable)
🕒 Work Schedule: 8-10 Hours Per Day, Sunday to Thursday
🔄 Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF (Single Status)
🏖️ Leave Rotation: 30 Days Annually (Couple Status)
We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support one of Qatar's leading LNG and energy operations by developing, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality operational and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Develop, review, and update operating procedures, work instructions, and technical manuals
✅ Prepare clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation for operations and maintenance teams
✅ Create and maintain competency assessment packages and supporting documentation
✅ Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Projects teams to capture and document technical changes
✅ Manage document review cycles and ensure compliance with company standards
✅ Support procedure validation, document control, and continuous improvement initiatives
✅ Translate complex technical information into practical and understandable documentation
✅ Ensure all documents are maintained in accordance with operational and safety requirements
Requirements
✔ HND/Diploma/Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
✔ Minimum 5 years of LNG, Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbon, or Petrochemical operations experience
✔ Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer/Technical Author
✔ Strong experience developing:
✔ Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary operational and engineering teams
