Description
Turnaround Instrument Planner is pivotal in ensuring the effective planning and execution of turnaround activities related to instrumentation systems. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in instrumentation with substantial planning experience, and will be adept at using SAP for project management.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive turnaround plans for instrumentation systems, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task prioritization.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to identify and address instrumentation needs and challenges.
• Utilize SAP to manage planning activities, track progress, and generate reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during turnaround activities.
• Oversee the procurement and availability of necessary tools, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to facilitate smooth turnaround processes.
• Monitor and adjust plans as needed to accommodate unforeseen issues or changes in project scope.
• Document all planning activities and maintain detailed records for future reference and audits.
Preferred Skills and Experience
• Proficient in SAP for managing and tracking project activities.
• Preference for candidates based in the local area, though per diem is available for non-local candidates.
• At least 7 years of experience in instrumentation, with a minimum of 3 years in a planning role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills plus excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using planning and scheduling software.
