Warehouse Associate II Location: Lake Charles, LA
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (4/10 schedule)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Rate: 25/hr
Position Summary The Warehouse Associate II supports daily warehouse operations in an industrial environment. This role is responsible for receiving, shipping, delivering, issuing, and kitting materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. The position requires strong attention to detail, safe material handling practices, and experience using inventory management systems.

Position Summary The Warehouse Associate II supports daily warehouse operations in an industrial environment. This role is responsible for receiving, shipping, delivering, issuing, and kitting materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. The position requires strong attention to detail, safe material handling practices, and experience using inventory management systems.
Key Responsibilities Receiving & Shipping
- Accept and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and document issues
- Record inventory transactions accurately in the inventory management system
- Organize and store materials safely in designated warehouse locations
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve shipment discrepancies
- Assist with planning and coordinating internal material deliveries
- Track delivery schedules and support drivers during deliveries
- Monitor delivery progress and resolve delivery issues as needed
- Interpret work orders, pick lists, and bills of materials
- Pick correct components, assemble kits, and package materials securely
- Label, stage, and document completed kits for production or shipping
- Maintain a high level of accuracy to prevent shortages and downtime
Inventory Issue & Control
- Issue and return materials using the inventory management system
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and transaction records
- Perform physical inventory counts and resolve variances
- Keep storage areas clean, organized, and space-efficient
- Receive and process damaged or returned materials
- Coordinate repairs with internal teams and external vendors
- Track repair documentation and update inventory records
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience, preferably in an industrial environment
- Valid forklift certification required
- TWIC card required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
- Ability to read and write in English
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Professional, safety‑focused, and team‑oriented attitude
- Ability to work in an active industrial/refinery environment
- Must be able to wear standard personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Regular standing, walking, lifting, and material handling required
