Location: Richland, Mississippi, USA
Rate: 15-20/hr
Duration: 3 month contract (with potential extension)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to support day-to-day warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This temporary role is covering a leave of absence and may lead to extension or full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse tasks including picking, packing, auditing, loading, replenishment, cycle counting, and receiving/put-away
- Operate material handling equipment safely and maintain certification
- Assist with inventory control and order processing
- Build crates and support basic assembly tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coordinators, and team members to resolve issues
- Report equipment, inventory, or process concerns promptly
- Meet productivity targets and follow established procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of material handling experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center
- Hands-on experience operating equipment such as:
- Stand-up dock trucks
- Order/stock pickers
- Sit-down forklifts
- Tugger, cart, or walkie rider equipment
- Basic computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP or similar platforms)
- 2–3 years of direct operations experience in a warehouse setting
