We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Specialist) with deep Workday expertise to join our HR Technology team. In this role, you will support enhancements, optimization initiatives, and functional projects across our Workday HCM ecosystem.
This position is ideal for someone who combines strong Workday configuration skills, a solid understanding of HR processes, and the ability to partner closely with stakeholders. You will collaborate with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and IT teams to design solutions that improve efficiency, data quality, and the overall user experience. Key Responsibilities

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Specialist) with deep Workday expertise to join our HR Technology team. In this role, you will support enhancements, optimization initiatives, and functional projects across our Workday HCM ecosystem.

You will collaborate with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and IT teams to design solutions that improve efficiency, data quality, and the overall user experience. Key Responsibilities
- Configure, enhance, and support Workday modules including HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Payroll, and Integrations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, delivering exceptional customer service and building trusted relationships.
- Lead discovery sessions, conduct interviews, and gather business requirements with precision and clarity.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, technical specifications, user stories, and configuration updates.
- Analyze current and future-state processes and recommend improvements based on Workday and HR best practices.
- Support the deployment of new Workday features and functionality.
- Troubleshoot system issues, determine root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including requirements, configuration decisions, process flows, and support materials.
- Partner with technical teams to support integration updates, data flows, and error resolution.
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience across modules such as HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Payroll, and Integrations.
- Strong functional knowledge of core HR operations.
- Demonstrated ability to gather complex business requirements and translate them into actionable configuration or technical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience analyzing and optimizing business processes with a focus on usability, scalability, and data integrity.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Workday certifications in HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Payroll, or Integrations.
- Experience with Workday EIBs, BIRT, Studio, or advanced reporting.
- Background in HR technology transformations or system implementation projects.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
