We have partnered with our multinational client since 2009, assisting them with the construction of sustainable infrastructure for smart city transportation.

The client needed personnel for the testing, installation, commissioning and automation of their subway (MRT) and sky train (BTS) lines across Thailand. The client needed an Employer of Record solution, and due to the complexity of the skillsets required, sought to enlist talent on an international scale. To meet the project’s stringent deadline and the expectations of various project owners, the client required the sourcing and mobilisation of personnel on both a contract and permanent basis.

Our Solution

We dedicated a team of local experts from our Bangkok office to support the scope.

  • We orchestrated compliant visa / work permits and in-country support, including payroll solutions, mobilisation and orientation assistance. We helped contractors to set-up bank accounts in local currencies, and provided documentation to assist with dual tax.
  • We allocated an account manager to the project who specialises in the infrastructure and construction industry. This enabled us to source and select niche candidates based on specific technical skills.
  • We provided international sourcing services and placed volume contractors including: Project Managers, Installers, Rolling Stock Engineers, Technical Writers, System Testers, CBI Testers, CAD Engineers, Vehicle Integration Engineers, Training Coordinators and Civil Interface Engineers.
  • Our permanent sourcing solution involved comprehensive local sourcing for immediately available roles including: Automatic Train Application Engineers, Rolling Stock Engineers, Safety Assurance Managers and Test Engineers.

  • More than 50 expatriate contractors, managing their mobilisation, accommodation and visas / work permits per Thai regulations
