Application Engineer
NES Fircroft are currently partnering with a global leader in Energy Control Systems to source an Application Engineer to join their recently established WA office in a truly exciting period of growth supporting the design, implementation and commissioning of energy control solutions across marine and renewable energy applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide frontline technical support and resolve issues across a range of energy control products including single line diagrams and system design
  • Develop bespoke customer applications tailored to specific project needs
  • Support customer commissioning both onsite and remotely
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and technical expertise
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
Requirements:
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering/Control Systems Engineering or equivalent 
  • Demonstrated experience in deliverinh energy control systems solution to renewable or marine clients
  • Knowledge of PLC or microprocessor-based controls, software, and logic
    • Ability to read/program ANSI C is an advantage
  • Understanding of microgrids, power generation control, and protection of distribution systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of an organisation
  • Experience in fault finding and servicing genset controllers is a plus
  • Current Australian Driver's License and full Australian working rights
