Overall Purpose :
■ Be the Civil & Structural (C&S) referent / design authority for C&S for
projects executed by AL E&C in Taiwan
■ Ensure the coordination between the 3rd part consultant for civil detailed
design and the project team
■ Support the permitting process (C&S related) for EPC project executed
in Taiwan
■ Able to work in office (during design and permitting phase) then at the
construction site (as C&S site supervisor)
Main Duties and Responsibilities :
■ Supporting role in proposal development, by providing C&S technical
solutions and quantity estimate
■ Overall lead C&S role in project execution, both in design and
construction phase, by demonstrating leadership and ownership in C&S
domain for HSE, technical, cost and schedule within the project
■ Managing the C&S team within the project, ensuring completeness of
the C&S Engineering deliverables.
■ Providing technical expertise and applicable solutions specific to the
C&S deliverables
■ Developing C&S standards, drafting and/or reviewing specifications and
guide drawings
■ Planning, monitoring, reviewing and approving the C&S discipline’s work
done by CDI
■ Managing interfaces with other Engineering disciplines as needed
■ Verifying and approving changes for C&S work, in particularly for the
engineering documents and drawings issued by the 3rd part consultant
■ Lead and prepare the tendering for the 3rd part consultant (for detailed
design) for the input provided by the project team
■ Ensure the coordination with 3rd party consultant (in Taiwan)
■ Ensure the coordination with consultant and local authorities in view of
obtaining permits (related with C&S) for the new plant
■ Able and willing to be stationed at the construction site as a C&S site
supervisor: in charge of verifying the consistency of the installation with
the drawings, and able to solve potential issues
Qualifications
■ Education: Bachelor or above in Civil and Structural Engineering
■ Training & Certificate: National certificate of registered Engineer is
preferred
■ Working Experience: 8+ years in design and/or engineering
management
■ Language: Chinese, English (as a plus)
■ Knowledge & Know-how: Exposed to C&S detail design in
Chemical/Petrochemical projects
■ Others: Inter-discipline mindset, contract awareness and cost
consciousness, mobility in terms of work place

■ 協助投標階段，提供土木結構方面的技術方案與數量估算
■ 在專案執行期間（設計與施工階段）主導土木結構相關工作，負責安全、技術、成本與進度的掌控
■ 帶領土木結構工程團隊，確保所有設計與工程成果完整交付
■ 提供土木結構領域的技術建議與解決方案
■ 建立設計標準，撰寫或審核相關規範與圖面
■ 規劃、監督並審查 CDI 團隊的土木結構設計成果
■ 與其他工程部門協調技術介面
■ 審核第三方顧問提出的設計變更，特別是圖面與技術文件
■ 主導第三方顧問（詳細設計）的招標準備工作，根據專案團隊提供的資料進行
■ 與台灣地區的第三方顧問保持密切合作
■ 協助與顧問及地方政府單位溝通，取得新廠相關的土木結構施工許可
■ 願意並能夠駐點工地，擔任土木結構現場監督，負責確認施工是否符合設計圖面，並能即時處理現場問題
任職資格：
■ 學歷：土木或結構工程相關科系，大學以上學歷
■ 證照：具備國家註冊技師證照者佳
■ 經驗：8 年以上設計或工程管理相關經驗
■ 語言：中文為主，具英文溝通能力者加分
■ 專業背景：有參與化工／石化類專案土木結構詳細設計的經驗
■ 其他條件：具跨部門協作能力、合約與成本意識，工作地點具彈性與機動性
