Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Analyst to support project cost control and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost engineering, preferably within the oil and gas industry, and will work closely with project teams to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Analyst to support project cost control and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost engineering, preferably within the oil and gas industry, and will work closely with project teams to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain project structures in SAP and EcoSys.
- Set up networks and activities to support the requisition process.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Cost Specialists to establish and input initial budgets.
- Review and validate invoices and purchase orders for compliance with cost codes and budget allocations.
- Submit monthly accruals and manage commitments.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing.
- Facilitate asset registration processes.
- Assist in preparing cost reports and dashboards.
- Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cost control or cost engineering, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
- Strong understanding of cost management principles and tools.
- Proficiency in SAP, EcoSys, Excel, and Power BI.
- Experience managing large-scale projects or multiple smaller projects with increasing complexity.
- Familiarity with project planning and scheduling processes.
- Experience working with major EPC contractors or oil & gas operators.
- Professional certifications such as AACE CCP, PMP, or equivalent are a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
