We are currently recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join the Woodside Planning Team on an initial 12 month, this role is Perth CBD based with opportunities for regular travel to site (estimated around 45 days onsite over the 12-month contract, subject to project requirements) 

 In this role, you will have an excellent opportunity to further enhance your production engineering and planning skills and experience; working in a multi-discipline team developing effective, fit for purpose and executable solutions to address asset risk in a prioritised manner, with frequent opportunities to collaborate with other teams across KGP.

About the Role:
 As an Electrical Engineer working in the Planning Team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Use technical judgment & experience, to select appropriate mechanical work for maintenance campaigns
  • Deliver engineering support for planned maintenance activities, including MOCs and STC workpacks
  • Assist with Capex projects and PSRA remediation activities
  • Actively participate in optimizing maintenance strategies based on the evolving ARP
  • Respond promptly to engineering queries for recurring and corrective workflows
  • Screen Maintenance Notifications per  Manage Maintenance Workflow (when delegated by scope owner)
  • Manage electrical related Safety & Environmental Critical Elements 
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis of significant defects or failures.
  • Support Electrical TA with various technical support.
  • Report or assist with incident investigations per HSE Event Reporting, Investigating and Learning Procedure
  • Evaluate feedback from site-based Execution Engineering Team and identify improvement opportunities
  • Provide backfill support for KGP Frontline Engineering Team and Execution Teams regarding Electrical engineering coverage
  • Participate in sharing learning with discipline peers. 
Skills & Experience:
  • Electrical Engineering Degree 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Previous production engineering experience preferred but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of management of change, risk identification & assessment
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
