NES Fircroft a partnering with a globally leading Alumina producer to support their regional Victorian smelting operations during an exciting period of operational growth, as such they are currently looking for a suitably experienced Electrical Reliability Engineer in an initial contracting role with long term potential.

Benefits
- Hourly rate of 130 – 140 per hour + super
- Initial contract role with potential permanent opportunity
- Based in Portland, regional Victoria
- Work alongside an extensively experienced operations team with decades of specialised experience
- Ongoing aftercare and dedicated contractor engagement team with NES Fircroft
- One flexi leisure day every four-week period
Job Role
- Leading root cause analysis investigation of failures,
- Developing work scopes for major equipment repairs using fitness for service approaches,
- Developing and improving equipment management strategies using a suite of reliability approaches, implementing improvements and driving to completion
- Passion and commitment to Environment, Health and Safety in the workplace.
- Identifying long term opportunities for improvement through the provision of technical expertise with a focus on equipment reliability and improving plant capacity
About You
- A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, with previous experience in maintenance, reliability, heavy industry or plant engineering.
- Victorian Engineering Registration
- An understanding of risk management, quality improvement and reliability excellence processes.
- Adaptable communication skills, relationship building skills and a strong ability to problem solve
