Electrical Reliability Engineer
NES Fircroft a partnering with a globally leading Alumina producer to support their regional Victorian smelting operations during an exciting period of operational growth, as such they are currently looking for a suitably experienced Electrical Reliability Engineer in an initial contracting role with long term potential.

Job Role
  • Leading root cause analysis investigation of failures,
  • Developing work scopes for major equipment repairs using fitness for service approaches,
  • Developing and improving equipment management strategies using a suite of reliability approaches, implementing improvements and driving to completion
  • Passion and commitment to Environment, Health and Safety in the workplace.
  • Identifying long term opportunities for improvement through the provision of technical expertise with a focus on equipment reliability and improving plant capacity
 
About You
  • A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, with previous experience in maintenance, reliability, heavy industry or plant engineering.
  • Victorian Engineering Registration
  • An understanding of risk management, quality improvement and reliability excellence processes.
  • Adaptable communication skills, relationship building skills and a strong ability to problem solve
