Our Client, a Major Oil and Gas Operator is currently seeking a GIS Analyst for a 12-month contract with potential to extend.This will be a Perth based role with frequent travel to site required.
We’re seeking a highly motivated and adaptable individual who thrives in dynamic environments. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable working with data, comfortable working in remote field settings, navigating ambiguity, and proactively developing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of field trips
- Field data collection, including plant identification and vegetation measurements
- Data processing and data management
- Sourcing information from conventional and unconventional sources
- Interpretation and use of GIS data
- Strong data handling and management capabilities
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Experience in field data collection (ecological or agricultural methodologies preferred)
- Proficiency in GIS mapping, preferably using QGIS
- High-level IT proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to interrogate and interpret data
- Comfortable working in remote field settings (Regional WA)
- Preferred: Drone accreditation and 4WD capability
- Travel duration: 1 week to 1 month
- Background in Environmental Science
