Location: Kershaw, SC

Scheduled Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 4:00PM (Possibility for Overtime)

To provide mechanical maintenance services for the mobile fleet within the maintenance department, ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Role Purpose
To provide mechanical maintenance services for the mobile fleet within the maintenance department, ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

- Conduct preventative maintenance and breakdown diagnostics.
- Inspect, install, troubleshoot, repair, and test mechanical equipment.
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and report inefficiencies.
Essential
- Mechanical Trade Certificate or 4+ years of relevant mining mechanical experience.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Equipment testing and adjustment experience.
- Working at Heights training.
- Elevated Work Platform, Overhead Gantry Crane, and Forklift certifications.
- Compliance with MSHA and Safety Systems.
- Diagnostic experience with 350–600t hydraulic shovels and excavators.
- Familiarity with Cat SiS & ET, Cummins Insite.
- Advanced engine, powertrain, and hydraulic diagnostics.
- 4–5 years in heavy industry, preferably mining.
- Experience with mobile fleet and field mining equipment.
- Familiarity with Komatsu, Caterpillar, Terex, Hitachi, Sandvik, and Epiroc equipment.
- Basic auto electrical skills (desirable).
- Strong safety awareness and legal compliance.
- Effective communication and teamwork.
- Time management and adaptability.
- Problem-solving and waste reduction mindset.
