Hydro Field Technician – FIFO from Perth | 8:6 Roster
NES Fircroft is partnering with a global leader in the resources sector to recruit a Hydro Field Technician for an initial 8 month contract, with strong potential for extension.

NES Fircroft is partnering with a global leader in the resources sector to recruit a Hydro Field Technician for an initial 8 month contract, with strong potential for extension.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team and contribute to critical hydrogeological operations across a dynamic field environment.
- 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth
- $48.50-$52 per hour depending upon experience
- ASAP Start
- Plan and coordinate daily earthworks operations, including ground-truthing and site preparation.
- Peg future borehole locations and access tracks as required.
- Maintain accurate records of earthworks progress, drill pad sign-offs, and pegged drill holes.
- Support emergency response efforts, including fire and weather-related events.
- Conduct daily pad checks and sign-offs, and assist Earthworks Operators as needed.
- Escort vehicles and liaise with contracting staff when required.
- Review field SWIs and procedures regularly.
- Manage stock levels of departmental consumables.
- WA Manual Class C Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- 4WD Certification
- Physically fit and capable of fieldwork
Highly Beneficial:
- GIS experience (e.g., ArcMap or similar platforms)
- Forklift Ticket
- MR or HR Licence
- Experience working with drill rigs and earthworks equipment
- Previous mine site experience
- Work with a globally recognised resources company
