Job Title: Intermediate Project Engineer
Location: Calgary, AB
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months
  • A Professional Engineer (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil) or equivalent professional status;
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering consulting experience, including pipeline and supporting infrastructure design, cost estimating, schedule development, and technical writing;
  • Field experience including pipeline and facility construction and facility operations is an asset;
  • Must be familiar with CSA Z662 and ASME B31.3 design requirements for pipelines and infrastructure facilities as well as other applicable regulatory agency guidelines and policies;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Non-authoritative leadership skills with the ability to influence effectively;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the proven ability to deliver messaging suitable for senior management and multi-discipline teams;
  • Strong attention to detail and are a self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset;
  • Driven, results-oriented individual who naturally takes responsibility for setting the standard and achieving results within a continuously changing environment;
  • An analytical and problem-solving mindset with strong business insight and an understanding of how to recognize opportunities for value creation; and
  • Based in our Calgary Office, you will be required to travel periodically to the project area.
