Job Specification
All project Marine Units’ safety and quality assurance activities shall be stewarded and executed by the Marine Lead who will also function as a Project Marine Coordinator throughout the Marine Execution phase of the Project.

Guide and support projects teams with extensive knowledge of protocols and best practices in the Maritime Industry. Review and analyze technical marine operational challenges, develop, recommend, and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences, Marine disciplines, or Engineering or Diploma in Marine or Nautical disciplines, and STCW II/2, STCW III/2Certification.

Knowledge and/or Experience
•8 years seagoing experience as a shipboard engineer or sea officer, including 1 years as Chief Engineer or Master.
• Experience in handling/managing offshore marine units operating in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of oil and gas industry bodies, national and international maritime and shipping regulations.
• Strong technical and operational marine knowledge.
• Knowledgeable in International Maritime Regulations, Codes and Standards.
• Broad knowledge of critical marine operations including offshore installation, construction vessels and barges, heavy lifts, transportation, pipe and cable lay, jack-up accommodation barges, and dive support vessels.
• Experience within the Middle East region is advantageous.
• Previous Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) and Marine Consultancy experience is advantageous (Preferably OVID accreditation).
