About You
- A degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or Process Engineering
- 8–10+ years’ experience in a gold CIL processing plant with extensive knowledge of gravity gold and CIL recovery processes
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide teams, with high level communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- S26 Certification and a current WA Class C manual driver’s licence
Job Role
- Championing safety and compliance across all operations
- Leading and mentoring metallurgical and laboratory teams
- Monitoring and optimising plant performance and process control systems
- Preparing and presenting regular reports on metallurgical activities
- Managing capital projects and contributing to budgeting processes
- Identifying and resolving equipment and process performance issues
- Coordinating implementation of new systems and upgrades
- Preparing month-end metallurgical balances and mid-month GIC report
- Supporting strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives
