Metallurgical Superintendent

NES Fircroft are partnering with a leading gold miner based out of the Goldfields of WA to source a Metalluirgical Superintendent to join their site based operations during an exciting period of growth.

About You
  • A degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or Process Engineering
  • 8–10+ years’ experience in a gold CIL processing plant with extensive knowledge of gravity gold and CIL recovery processes
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide teams, with high level communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • S26 Certification and a current WA Class C manual driver’s licence

Job Role 
  • Championing safety and compliance across all operations
  • Leading and mentoring metallurgical and laboratory teams
  • Monitoring and optimising plant performance and process control systems
  • Preparing and presenting regular reports on metallurgical activities
  • Managing capital projects and contributing to budgeting processes
  • Identifying and resolving equipment and process performance issues
  • Coordinating implementation of new systems and upgrades
  • Preparing month-end metallurgical balances and mid-month GIC report
  • Supporting strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives
