The Operations Performance Manager is responsible for the development and delivery of the Operations Performance Management System, which is expected to make a significant contribution to the operational, cost and growth performance of the business.
Key performance metrics of the OMS include HSE, Production, Crude Quality and Financial. The right candidate will have a significant Operations background, but know what good looks like in each of these areas, being able to scratch under the surface and challenge where necessary.
The Operations Performance Manager will provide a resource within the project to monitor, identify and follow through on options across the business to improve the quality of performance outcomes, using standardised approaches, underpinned by Continuous Improvement.
The role reports directly to the Senior Operations Manager and is a member of the Operations Leadership Team.

- Own the development and delivery of the Operations Performance Management System.
- Drive systematic performance improvement through the Performance Improvement Cycle.
- Be the integrator, unlocking integrated performance improvement across the business.
- A role model for new ways of working, energising the adoption of agility and digital tools to unlock the true value of data, workflows, and teams.
Requirements:
- An influential leader with a track record of delivering transformational changes within large organisations.
- Senior Leadership experience
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Comfortable leading through a range of contexts, from a high level of technical detail through to long term strategy and vision.
- Deep expertise in Operations strategy, tactics, and performance.
- Deep knowledge of performance management and reporting systems
- An in-depth understanding of Production Efficiency Improvement processes and tools and their application to drive production and operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical and communication capability, understand data, drawing insights and developing improvement plans.
- Degree level qualification, or equivalent experience, required.
