Process Engineering Specialist

Job Purpose
To perform and support process engineering activities within the Projects Engineering Support Division, ensuring that all engineering deliverables meet the required technical standards, company procedures, and project objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Perform and review process engineering activities in accordance with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to FEED and EPC contractors during all project phases.
• Resolve engineering issues and coordinate with the Project Execution Team and other disciplines to ensure smooth progress.
• Review and update relevant process design philosophies, procedures, and technical documents.
• Ensure compliance with QG Project Management System (QGPMS) and company engineering processes.
• Participate in contracting and procurement activities to ensure technical requirements are met.
• Monitor contractor performance, progress, and quality of process deliverables.
• Provide technical support to other engineers and departments as required.
• Uphold all project and company standards related to process safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical / Process preferred).
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in process engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
• At least 4 years’ experience working in a Project Management Team (PMT) or Client-side engineering role.
• Strong understanding of FEED, EPC, and Commissioning project phases.
• Solid knowledge of international codes and standards relevant to process design and safety.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in common engineering and project management software.
