We are currently recruiting an experienced Project Controls Specialist to join our client on an initial 12-month contract supporting a major mining project exceeding $100M in value. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing project delivery team and play a key role in ensuring schedule and cost performance across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor and report on project performance, cost, and schedule variances.
- Assist in project forecasting, budgeting, and cost control activities.
- Support project reporting and progress tracking in line with client and internal standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate project data and performance metrics.
- Identify and communicate risks, opportunities, and potential deviations from plan.
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in project controls, with strong background in planning and cost control.
- Proven experience working on large-scale projects (>$100M), ideally within the mining or resources sector.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Brisbane-based, with ability to attend site 2 days per fortnight.
- Initial 12-month contract.
