Project Delivery Specialist – Sustaining Capital Projects (12-Month Contract)
SoR | Immediate Start | Mon - Fri 38 hrs with potential OT | $100-$110/hr + Super
 
Our client is shaking things up in the way they deliver sustaining capital projects — moving from a traditional project delivery model to a fast-paced, agile project delivery approach. With a backlog of 80+ small projects ranging from a few thousand to $100k, we’re looking for two driven, independent Project Delivery Specialists to help them get things done — fast.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering a high volume of small sustaining capital projects (think 30–60 per year)
• Managing end-to-end project delivery: scoping, procurement, contractor engagement, and implementation
• Working closely with operations teams and contractors to ensure practical, fit-for-purpose solutions
• Navigating minimal process overhead — they value outcomes over red tape
• Applying an agile mindset: test, deliver, iterate
• Working on a variety of fixed plant processing assets such as valves, pumps, pipes etc.

 
What We’re Looking For

• Self-starters who thrive on autonomy and can juggle multiple projects at once
• Experience delivering small-scale sustaining capital projects (ideally $10–$50k range)
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills — especially with contractors and operations teams
• Practical mindset — engineering knowledge is helpful, but this is more about delivery than design
• Resilience and adaptability — you’ll need to keep momentum and bounce back quickly
• Comfortable working longer hours during shutdowns or implementation phases (within fatigue management policy)
