We are working with our leading water client, based in Perth, recruiting for a Purchasing Advisor to join them on an initial 3 contract to provide comprehensive procurement services across all Group, Business Unit, and Regional Customers. This role involves strategic sourcing, purchasing, and expediting a wide range of goods and services.

Responsibilities:
- Purchasing: Verify shopping carts, review robotic purchase orders, solicit bids, and ensure value for money. Provide procurement support and manage purchase order changes.
- Supplier Management: Identify and manage preferred suppliers, maintain user guides, and conduct contract performance reviews.
- Customer Relationships: Liaise with manufacturers, contractors, and suppliers. Provide advice and develop customer relationships.
- Procurement Systems: Ensure accurate data entry in SRM e-procurement and SAP MM Systems. Monitor purchasing data and recommend system enhancements.
- Substantial procurement experience in a large engineering-focused organisation.
- Experience in supplier/contractor evaluation and computer-based procurement systems.
- Contract management knowledge.
- Knowledge of procurement theory, electronic trading, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong business communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplined teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite and business computing applications.
