Our client a leading Oil & Gas Operator are seeking a QSHE Interface Lead to act as the bridge between the QSHE and Operations teams.

Ensuring Health, Safety and Process Safety procedures are effectively implemented across onshore terminals and offshore assets, including drilling, wells and projects.

This role will be based in Norwich (Mon–Fri) with regular offshore/onshore site interfaces and interested candidates must either be open to relocation or reside within a daily commutable distance to the office as no lodge to be paid. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead contractor management assurance and oversee OWC/SEMS documentation.

  • Provide accurate HSE advice, monitor compliance, investigate incidents, and drive root cause corrective actions.

  • Lead and coach teams on risk assessments (fire, COSHH, Work at Height, noise/vibration, asbestos, SOPs etc.).

  • Conduct site visits, audits and assurance to maintain SEMS compliance and regulatory standards.

  • Support delivery of QSHE governance, improvement programmes and stakeholder engagement plans.

  • Interface with operations, drilling, wells and projects to ensure safe planning, risk assessment and change management.

  • Participate in HAZID/HIRA workshops, regulatory inspections, Safety Case/COMAH reviews and emergency response.

  • Coordinate health and safety campaigns and provide leadership support across QSSHE activities.

Requirements

  • Strong offshore upstream Oil & Gas experience at Advisor/Team Lead level (operator environment).

  • Broad exposure to production, subsea, drilling and well intervention.

  • In-depth knowledge of UK regulatory framework, SCR2015, and SEMS.

  • HND/Diploma in Health & Safety (NEBOSH/NVQ) plus valid BOSIET/FOET.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Preferred

  • Extensive Oil & Gas experience, including operational and terminal exposure.

  • Team leadership/supervisory background.

  • Trained incident investigator, COMAH knowledge.
